Violin/Viola Group Classes

Playing in a group is a vital part of becoming a well-rounded musician, plus it’s a lot of fun! In our violin and viola group classes, you can expect to work on a wide variety of music genres and styles, and you’ll learn many valuable new skills that are unique to playing in groups in addition to having what you already know from private lessons reinforced in a practical, real-world scenario. Classes will include everyday essentials like group warm-ups, scales and technique-building exercises, as well as work on duets, trios and more! Customizations will also be made for each class based on the unique students enrolled and what would benefit them the most.

These group classes meet once per week for 45 minutes, and are taught by one of our amazing violin teachers, Mr. Catalin!

Violin group classes are divided based on approximate level, and an
active enrollment in private violin lessons at NMA or elsewhere is required for participation. If you are unsure which level is the right one for you, please contact us for assistance.


Schedule:
Fridays from 4:00pm-4:45pm - Beginner (Equivalent of early Suzuki Book 1)
Fridays from 5:00pm-5:45pm - Intermediate (Equivalent of late Suzuki Book 1 and all of Book 2)
Fridays from 6:00pm-6:45pm - Advanced (Equivalent of Suzuki Book 3 and up)


Tuition:
$92/month/student, $80/month/sibling
$30 Registration Fee/student


Max Enrollment:

Class size is limited to 10 students/section at this time.
